A rare Japanese-market single malt expression of Nikka's Yoichi distillery.
This series was named to reflect the style of whisky inside the bottle. This is packed with wood and vanilla flavours, hence the name "Woody & Vanillic"
Nose : Subtly perfumed mixing heavy flowers with soft/semi dried fruits and hints of cocoa.
Palate : Cooked apple, fresh apricot, toasted nuts, madeleines, tickle of smoke and a waxy depth.
Finish : Smoked vanilla pod.
Comment : Flawless, sweet, dry, deep, light, smoke, flowers, cream, toasty oak. Elegant.
Highly recommended to be consumed neat for bourbon lovers!
